The Timber Heritage Association and Fort Humboldt State Historic Park annually host Dolbeer Donkey Days: a unique and fun walk back in time. Visitors can experience logging camp activities and competitions, historical reenactments from various periods of the 1800's, steam donkey displays and free steam engine rides with local 1884 Falk and 1892 Bear Harbor steam locomotives.
